Nothing Phone (1) to have 120Hz display and 50-megapixel camera

The new Nothing Phone 1 will be released next week, and the device will be unveiled during a press event on July 12th. Many of the specs of the newest Nothing Phone smartphone are already known, and Nothing has disclosed on TikTok that the device would include a 120Hz display.

We learned that the handset would feature a 6.55-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, and we now know the refresh rate. Other alleged specifications for the device include a Snapdragon 778G+ processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The device will include a 4500 mA battery and fast charging. And also a variety of high-end cameras, including a single camera on the front and two cameras on the back. It features a pill-shaped camera hump in the top left corner. The module includes two big rear cameras, confirming the previous rumours.

These will contain a front-facing 16-megapixel camera for making video calls and capturing selfies. The handset will have a 50-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel secondary camera on the back.

Nothing phone (1) will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset and will run Nothing OS based on Android, preferably Android 12. We’re excited to learn more about the new Nothing Phone 1 and will have more information when it arrives next week.
